 What is the best thing you owe your children today?


Is it the best clothes, the best presents or the right investment?


"Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from Him." - Psalm 127:3.


Children signify fruitfulness, productivity and posterity. They are a heritage and gift from God to seal marriages.


I have realized that I am a priest over my children. I am their first pastor and teacher, hence I have to invest in them.


I owe them more than just quality education, good food, clothes, and a good home, but a solid spiritual foundation. 


"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" - Proverbs 22:6.


The way you train your children is what will shape their values and principles when they grow up, especially in times when you're not there.


The investment you give to your children also determines the investment you'll get back in the future.


Investing rightly in my children is the best gift I owe them and myself.


As we celebrate our children today, let's make a decision to invest wisely in them. The best investment you can give them is instilling a strong spiritual foundation in them.


That is a treasure that will last and lead them into a great future.
